Medical Treatment Ministry

MSM collaborates with volunteer doctors and nurses to provide treatment to the most isolated villagers across Myanmar. Healthcare in Myanmar, particularly in Yangon, has seen some improvement recently, with numerous physicians resuming their duties. Nonetheless, doctors critical of the regime believe that hundreds still die weekly due to the healthcare system's collapse. A substantial part of healthcare is now administered outside of state hospitals by medical professionals who resist the military and support the National Unity Government, which contests the junta's legitimacy.
