In Myanmar, fewer than half of the population have access to hygienic toilets, and only 58% can access safe drinking water. Although two-thirds of the population have access to clean water and adequate toilets nationwide, these numbers are lower in rural areas due to insufficient sustainable public infrastructure and resources.
MSM is contributing by digging water wells and providing water tanks for communities, ensuring that everyone, regardless of their faith, has access to clean water, while also sharing the gospel with the people of Myanmar.
