“Changing One Life at a Time”
Dear Friends and family,
Hope that you are all doing well and enjoying the summer break. We want to thank everyone for continuing prayer and support for the people of Myanmar.
Updates on the country of Myanmar:
Due to mandatory serving in the military drafting, a lot of young people are fleeing their homes and hiding in the forest. Our mission locations are affected by these issues and parents are worried about when they will see their children again. There is always a fear of not knowing when the government will come and get our young men, please continue to pray for safety.
The continue burning, bombing, and killing of people in various areas forced villagers to flee their homes and leave everything they own. Which creates for shortage of living situations, shortage of foods, and shortage of education.
My birthplace-City of Tedim was destroyed back in May, and people are fleeing to nearby city Kalemyo, and surrounding areas. We have 2 mission centers where they found refuge, but we are running out of room for schooling, and room for sleeping. They also need help with food supplies as well.
We have started “Go fund me” account to help with our mission team in Myanmar during this difficult time. If you want to help, please go to gofundme.com and find “Myanmar Samaritan Mission” and you will give it there or you can send a check to me. Thank you for your help.
Extreme inflation is really hard on everyone which causes MSM to stretch thin with all the fund we have to provide for our 6 locations. Can you pray about helping us to meet our monthly needs?
Praise and Concern: There is always a fear of not knowing when the military government might shut us down or stop us from doing the Lord’s work, but each day is a blessing. We praise God every day that we are able to carry on the work in the midst of all these. Please be praying for MSM. Thank you.
